About Me
My background is in Early Childhood Development. I got my AA in community college in Child Development, and I worked at a few preschools in San Diego. One includes a natured and plant-based preschool I was the chef and assistant teacher at. At the same time, I began working in restaurants and fell in love with hospitality and have been working in the industry ever since. After taking a nutrition course in my child development class, I realized the importance of nutrition for a healthy development. That’s when I choose to change my major to Nutrition & Dietetics. I am still passionate about working with kids and hope to weave my passion for child development and food into a career path, such as School Nutrition Specialist, Non-profit Program Manager, or Child Nutrition Program Coordinator.
